SUMMER SHOOTOUT RESULTS!
As the season begins to come to a close, the weekend of June 15th-17th played host to the 2018 Edition of the Summer Shootout. Once again battling the rain, 150 teams through the 10's-18's left it all out on the field for their right to call themselve Champions!
NO GAME TIME REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 4PM ON THE MONDAY BEFORE A TOURNAMENT BEGINS, NO EXCEPTIONS!
PRICE WILL INCREASE $50 AFTER JUNE 8TH!
All teams ages 8u-14u must pay their $150 team gate free prior to the first game of the event. Money collected from Team Gate Fees go straight back to supporting Forsyth County Parks!
All teams ages 15-18 will pay a daily gate-fee of $5 per person at the high school facility for their games played over the weekend.
Triple Crown does not keep any portion of Gate Money Collected (Prepaid Team Gate or Individual Gate paid at facilities)

Depending on the amount of teams entered into your specific age group, there could be a possibility of splitting into multiple brackets playing for their own Championships. These "Gold", "Silver", and "Bronze" Championship teams will be determined by results from pool play. In order to break out into these separate brackets, we need a minimum of 16 teams (Gold and Silver). Another bracket will be added for every 8 teams thereafter.
Top 2 teams in each division receive team and individual awards, along with berths to our National Events!

Equipment Required for Participants
Please be sure to upload your COMPLETE team roster for the event prior to your first game. Once you step foot on the field for your first game, your roster is LOCKED and you cannot additional players to your team. All players on the roster are required to have their Authorization Waivers completed before playing. Additionally, all teams are asked to carry all birth certificates on them at all times, in the event of a protest.
**TCS does NOT provide baseballs for this event. All teams provide 2 new baseballs and 1 used baseball per game. Get them back from the umpires at the end of each game.**
Please remember to warm up in turfs or tennis shoes at all facilities, and then change over to cleats/spikes right before game times.
This is a 'Stay to Play Event': All out of town teams traveling 100 miles or over to the event are required to book their hotel rooms through the approved Triple Crown partner hotels under the Triple Crown room block, as well as report your lodging to be accepted into the tournament. *OUR TOURNAMENTS ARE STAY TO PLAY EVENTS* Failure to comply will result in your team having to pay the lodging surcharge or being disqualified to participate in the event. Our hotel partners are located on the event home page under the lodging tab. Triple Crown has secured hotels and has the lowest group rate guaranteed. We moved this event that had previously been played in Alpharetta (Summer Sizzler) in 2009. Come out and see some of the best facilties in Northeast Georgia. Whether you are going to STEAMBOAT SPRINGS FOR THE WORLD SERIES OR MYRTLE BEACH FOR THE SUMMER NATIONALS, you will want to face the toughest competition so that your team will be prepared to do their best. This allows those teams to make the last little adjustments to their lineups so that they can excel where it REALLY COUNTS. All games will be played in Forsyth County at Sharon Springs Park, Midway Park, Fowler Park and Sawnee Mountain just to name a few. 15u and above will be played at some of the local high school facilities. You will want to sign up early because this event will SELL OUT and you don't want to be left scrambling to try and get those important games played before you head off to your NATIONAL EVENT!!!!
THERE WILL BE A $150 TEAM GATE FEE (AGES 8U TO 14U) THAT WILL BE COLLECTED BEFORE THE FIRST GAME OF YOUR TOURNAMENT. THIS IS EASIER AND CHEAPER THAN PAYING $5 PER PERSON/ PER DAY THERE ON SITE AND IT COVERS ALL OF YOUR PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, SIBLINGS, AND FANS FOR THE ENTIRE WEEKEND. YOU CAN MAIL THIS IN ALONG WITH YOUR REGISTRATION AHEAD OF TIME IF YOU CHOOSE TO DO SO.
ALL 15U TO 18U TEAMS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY A $5 DAILY GATE FEE AT THEIR RESPECTIVE FACILITY UPON ARRIVAL FOR THEIR GAMES ON THE WEEKEND.
